Carl B. Kauffman passed away on March 18, 2022. Born in Lancaster PA, Carl lived in Bird-in-Hand, PA, then moved to Hampton, CT later in life. Carl worked in the fields and in other positions for Kauffman Orchards. He was known as a quiet, sweet man who was always there when you needed him. He served with Hand-in-Hand Fire Company for 25 years, working his way through the ranks as an officer, fire policeman, and chaplain, as well as heading up the dining room for fundraising dinners. He was hard-working, dependable, and will be missed.
